US Treasury Dept hopes to agree on limits on Russian oil till Dec

MOSCOW/WASHINGTON, Jul 21 (PRIME) -- Western states can agree on the price limits on Russian oil until December, the U.S. Department of the Treasury Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo said on Thursday.

The E.U. plans to ban the insurance of the tankers shipping Russian oil by December and the U.S. hopes that the price limit will add an effect, he said.

Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said, as broadcasted by television Channel One, that Russia will not sell oil at a loss if such a limit will be set.
